QUEZON CITY, August 31 (PIA) – The Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) will be celebrating the 18th Development Policy Research Month (DPRM) through the conduct of a series of online symposium throughout September 2020.
The PIDS will hold a forum on September 1 to kick off the celebration, which for this year, revolves on the theme, “Bouncing Back Stronger: Innovating Governance for the New Normal.” As of today, registration for this event is now officially closed.
Another forum included in the line up is the Virtual Roundtable Discussion on Science and Technology Human Resource Requirements in the Philippines, which will be held on September 3, in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST).
The 6th PIDS-MinDA Mindanao Policy Research Forum is set on September 10, while the Annual Public Policy Conference (APPC) Webinar #1: Innovation in Public Sector Governance for Resilience under the New Normal: Theory and Practice is scheduled on September 15.
September 17 will see the conduct of the APPC Webinar #2: Institutional Innovations and Reforms under the New Normal.
The third and fourth in the APPC webinar series, Strengthening the Civil Service under the New Normal, and Smart Systems for Agile Governance under the New Normal, is set on September 22 and 24 respectively.
