In observance of the 11th Development Policy Research Month, the PIDS and the Senate Economic Planning Office sponsored a seminar-forum on “Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program: Why “deepening” matters in achieving its human capital objectives” on September 19 at the Senate of the Philippines.
Poverty specialist and PIDS senior research fellow Celia Reyes will discussed why the 4Ps should be expanded and what modifications are needed to make the program more effective and efficient.
This forum was intended to apprise Senate technical staff of the major findings of PIDS’ initial evaluation of the CCT program to assist them in providing effective technical support to legislators. The forum was part of the Senate-PIDS Economic Forum Series.
