This is to confirm that one of our colleagues has tested positive for COVID-19 and is now confined in a hospital.
We are committed to the safety of our personnel, clients, and community and have immediately implemented the necessary precautionary and preventive measures to address the situation. These include work-from-home policy until March 19, continuous disinfection of workplace premises, and contact tracing. The building management shall also conduct a routine disinfection of all common areas. We are also closely coordinating with the City Health Office of Quezon City for guidance.
In the meantime, all PIDS officials and staff shall continue to discharge their functions through telecommunication platforms.
Staff members who had direct contact with our affected colleague have been asked to do self-quarantine or immediately visit a healthcare professional in case they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
Rest assured that we will continue to manage the situation in close coordination with the Department of Health.
