More than 40 industry associations representing key Philippine sectors including labor, civil society groups, and the academe are reviewing the proposed framework for the manufacturing industry. Discussions with the industries in a recent workshop revealed constraints experienced by firms that impact on the manufacturing industry`s growth, namely infrastructure and logistics, governance and regulation, supply chain gaps, and availability of testing facilities, among others.
