The Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) will launch its newest book titled “How Modern Is Philippine Agriculture and Fisheries? The Agriculture and Fisheries Modernization Act after a Quarter Century” through a virtual forum on March 16, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM via Zoom.
The book compiles studies assessing the implementation of the Agriculture and Fisheries Modernization Act (AFMA) and the sector’s performance in relation to the attainment of AFMA’s objectives. By looking at past and present development trends and issues, it offers insights and recommendations moving forward.
