Regional economic integration should bring about more employment for less educated workers to achieve inclusive growth, said an economist. According to Philippine Institute for Development Studies senior research fellow Dr. Celia Reyes, who presented a study at a forum on regional economic integration at the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), the increase in labor demand must come from regional production sectors, such as the electronics and automotive parts industries.
