The East Asian Development Network (EADN) will hold its 2014-2015 Annual Meeting on May 28-29 at the Makati Diamond Residences in Makati City, Philippines. Around 50 participants from member-institutions, research grantees and their mentors, and representatives from the Global Development Network (GDN) are expected to attend this annual event.
The annual forum will provide the new batch of EADN researcher grantees the opportunity to present the latest development in their research projects and discuss it with fellow researchers within the network. Updates about the EADN and its activities and the GDN will also be discussed.
EADN is a consortium of research institutes, centers, and think tanks in the developing countries of East Asia that serves as a venue for research policy networking and capacity building. EADN is an active regional network partner of the Global Development Network (GDN) in generating and promoting high-quality and policy-relevant social science research, and sharing knowledge for development.
PIDS President Gilberto Llanto is the Regional Coordinator of EADN. PIDS hosts the EADN Secretariat.
