Ms. Liguton has served as its managing editor for the past three decades of the Journal`s publication. She has endeavored to ensure the continuing high quality of the articles, the diversity of subject areas, and the relevance of the issues tackled amid the challenges of a fast-changing world. In this note, she also introduces the new managing editor of the PJD, Dr. Josef Yap, currently the president of the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS).
