The headline inflation rate at national level went up to 4.3 percent in February from 3.6 percent in January. At the same time core inflation rate also inched up to 3.5 percent in February from 3.3 percent in January.

The monthly average peso-dollar exchange rate went down to 43.7031 in February from 44.1722 in January.
