The monthly average exchange rate went up to 56.156 pesos per US dollar, the highest average for the year 2005.
The year-on-year headline inflation rate at the national level decelerated to 7.0 percent in September from 7.2 percent in August. On the other hand year-on-year core inflation rate slightly went down to 6.5 percent in September from 6.6 percent in August.
Employed persons in July 2005 increased by 2.8 percent to 32.5 million in July 2005 from 31.6 million a year ago.
The unemployment rate was estimated at 7.7 percent in July this year.
Underemployment rate was estimated at 20.5 percent in July this year.
