The 1994-based year-on-year headline inflation rate went up to 5.1 percent in June from 4.5 percent in May. This is the highest inflation rate recorded since November 2001.
On the other hand 2000-based inflation rate went up to 5.4 percent in June from 4.7 percent in May.
The monthly average exchange rate went down from P55.845/dollar in May to P55.985 per US dollar in June, 2004.
Composite Index closes at 1,579.40 for the month of June. This is higher compared to May`s 1,511.36.
