The national employment rate was recorded at 89.0 percent in January this year. A year ago, it was estimated at 89.4 percent.
Underemployment rate was recorded at 17.5 percent in January this year.
The 1994-based year-on-year headline inflation rate increased to 3.8 percent in March from 3.4 percent in February. On the other hand 2000-based inflation rate went up to 4.2 percent in March from 4.0 percent in February.
Composite Index closes at 1,424.3 for the month of March. This is lower compared to February`s 1,483.2.
