The Chinese Bargain

An interesting paper recently delivered by respected economist Dr. Josef T. Yap lists the threats and opportunities that the Philippines should carefully assess when reviewing its relations with China, the world economic giant that ranked second only to the United States in terms of gross domestic product (GDP) in 2005.
