In this #PIDSGetsMoBa video, we highlight the significant economic contribution of the digital economy alongside its current state and the challenges that impede its full potential. In line with this, a recent book published by PIDS encourages strengthening the country's digital economy, especially as it lags behind neighboring countries in terms of various indicators. It urges the government and the private sector to work together in resolving issues related to digital connectivity, infrastructure, security, and literacy. The book also emphasizes the need to uphold the rights and protection of digital economy workers.
