The Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) conducted a seminar-forum on The Philippine Business and Economic Outlook for 2015 and Beyond on May 19, 2:00 to 4:30 pm, at the Romulo Hall, NEDA sa Makati Building, 106 Amorsolo St., Legaspi Village, Makati City.
A yearly tradition of PIDS as part of its service to the Filipino people, this event featured the Institute`s analysis of the macroeconomic trends in 2014 and the economic outlook for 2015. The PIDS presentation was given by Dr. Adora Navarro, OIC-Vice President and a Senior Research Fellow of the Institute.
The other presentation highlighted the private sector`s analysis of the country`s economic prospects. The presenter was Mr. Hans Sicat, President of the Philippine Stock Exchange and a non-executive Vice Chairman and Director of LegisPro Corporation (a knowledge process outsourcing firm). He also holds positions in various business entities.
