Part of the 1st Mindanao Policy Research Forum was a press conference on the 13th Development Policy Research Month. The panelists were Usec Janet Lopoz of MinDA, Dr. Gilberto Llanto of PIDS, Engr. Wendel Diangcalan of the Bangsamoro Development Authority, Mr. Vicente Lao of the Mindanao Business Council, and Atty. Anwar Malang of the DILG-ARMM. The discussion with the members of the press focused mainly on the need to develop more effective policies and regulations to support MIndanao's development, particularly in the areas of tourism, power generation, and agribusiness development.
