Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) Senior Research Fellow Francis Mark Quimba graced the Muntinlupa City Planning and Development Office’s (CPDO) 1st Research Colloquium, an event organized in support of the 21st Development Policy Research Month (DPRM).
Quimba discussed the importance of using the twin transition to realize a green and digital economy in his talk titled, "Green and Digital: Managing the Twin Transition toward Sustainable Development”.
“We must prioritize sustainability and leverage the power of technology as we continue to navigate the challenges of the modern world,” Quimba said.
Muntinlupa City Mayor Rozzano Rufino Biazon delivered a special message at the research colloquium, which featured studies conducted in the city and advocated evidence-based policymaking and planning.
The event was held on September 27 at the Museo ng Muntinlupa.
The PIDS extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Muntinlupa CPDO for supporting the 21st DPRM celebration.
This year’s DPRM focuses on the theme, “Going Green and Digital for a More Sustainable, Inclusive, and Prosperous Future for All”.
