The Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) organized a public seminar focusing on labor and education on June 19, 2019 at the PIDS office in Quezon City.
The event featured three PIDS studies, namely, "Senior High School and the Labor Market: Perspectives of Grade 12 Students and Human Resource Officers" by PIDS Senior Research Fellow Dr. Aniceto Orbeta, Jr., "Are We Missing Out on the Demographic Dividend? Trends and Prospects" by PIDS Research Fellow Dr. Michael Abrigo and "Out-of-School Children: Changing Landscape of School Attendance and Barriers to Completion" by PIDS Senior Research Fellow Dr. Jose Ramon Albert.
