State think tank Philippine Institute for Development Studies received continued ISO 9001:2015 certification after passing the surveillance audit of its Quality Management System by third-party auditors.
“The continued ISO certification of PIDS confirms that we have maintained effective and efficient systems and processes,” PIDS president Aniceto Orbeta Jr. said.
PIDS received its first ISO certification from Certification International Philippines in 2019. It was recertified in 2022 and had undergone and passed the annual surveillance audits. Third-party surveillance and internal audits are regularly held to check continued compliance with ISO standards.
“One of the reasons why PIDS has effective systems is because we have excellent staff. The strength of PIDS will always be its people,” Orbeta said.
