AS THE PHILIPPINES receives positive reviews about its growth prospects, notable figures in the academe and in Congress such as Gerardo Sicat and Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile are batting for relaxing our foreign direct Investment (FDI) policy. As of late, there has been clamor to seriously consider constitutional amendments to certain economic provisions as the nation finds itself in an opportune position and would do well to take advantage of it. Will this be enough though?
