A PIDS study found that there are local factors limiting the progress in addressing child undernutrition in the country. Maternal, neonatal, child health, and nutrition interventions have not produced sufficient national impact due to the lack of alignment of local government priorities with national targets. This is aggravated by inadequate local data for priority setting and limited local resources for health and nutrition.
