The Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) and the Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) will hold a public consultation on “Grocery and Supermarket Retail Business in the Philippines” on August 9, (Friday), from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the PCC Court Room, 25th Floor, Vertis North Corporate Center Tower 1, North Avenue, Quezon City.
The PCC, together with PIDS, has engaged the services of Dr. Mitzie Irene P. Conchada and Ms. Deborah Kim Sy to conduct a market scoping study focusing on the Philippine Retail Business. In this public consultation, they will present the results of the study. Participants will have the opportunity to provide comments to ensure that the study is useful to the PCC and other stakeholders.
