Co-hosted by CLSU and PASCN of the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS), this engaging event will run from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and is designed to spark interest among students, faculty, and staff.
The roadshow aims to highlight how APEC-related research can contribute to sustainable development in the region, showcasing the opportunities PASCN offers through its research programs.
The event will feature presentations from experts who will dive into the benefits of PASCN’s Research Program (RP) and Thesis and Dissertation Assistance Program (TDAP). Dr. John Paolo Rivera from PIDS will discuss the RP’s potential to support academic and policy-oriented research, while Dr. Eylla Gutierrez of the Asian Institute of Management will offer insights into TDAP and how students and researchers can successfully engage with it.
Participants will also hear testimonials from former grantees who will share their experiences—what the application process was like, how they navigated challenges, and how being part of PASCN has influenced their academic and professional paths. This event is a valuable chance for aspiring researchers, seasoned academics, and curious students to learn about the support PASCN provides and the impact of APEC-focused research in the region.
