The Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) and the Korea Association of International Development and Cooperation (KAIDEC) conducted “The 4th International Symposium on Asian Development Studies”, on October 25 and 26 at the PIDS Conference Hall in Quezon City.
Speakers from Korea, Australia, Japan, China, Thailand, Viet Nam, Malaysia, and the Philippines including those from PIDS presented their studies on the involvement of both ASEAN and non-ASEAN countries in fostering development in the regional bloc, and share their insights about prevailing and emerging issues in ASEAN countries, as well as the role of member-countries in ASEAN’s regional cooperation and integration.
